Resource Library

Four types of resources embedded within the Resource Library are: The Video Library, The Conference Archives, Training Modules, and The Document Library.

The Video Library contains over 120 hours of classroom lessons, pre- and post-conferences, and scores and evidence designed to improve performance on each of the 19 rubric indicators. Advanced searching capabilities now make it easier to locate the video or video clips you need to advance teachers' practices.  HD videos are displayed in split screen for easy observation of both teacher and students.

The Conference Archives contain categorized and searchable presentations, video clips, and associated materials from all TAP Summer Institute (TSI) and National TAP Conference training sessions. These can be accessed for indivdiual use or use by other teacher leaders looking for quality professoinal development to guide their efforts.

NIET's Training Modules are interactive and user-directed training experiences. These modules are based on the indicators of the NIET TAP Teaching Standards Rubric (Teaching Skills, Knowledge and Responsiblities Performance Standards) and other topics that can be used to enhance teaching practices, the evaluation process, and coaching practices.

The Document Library houses specialized resources and comprehensive tools which are readily available for download to assist practioners in their efforts to develop and support effective educators. NIET publications like the TAP Implementation Manual, TAP Evaluation and Compensation (TEC) Guide, Career Teacher Handbook, and TAP Leadership Handbook are accessible for reference or download.  All corresponding documents from NIET’s Educator Effectiveness series are also available.
